John Lennon was shot dead on December 8th, 1980, at the age of 40. It was the killing of a great artist and it shocked the world. „John Lennon’s Last Day“ is the most complete account of that fateful day that has ever been presented. It is a work of documentary theatre. Basically, with the use of a single actor, a simple stage set, some projected images and some very rare audio clips, this piece guides the audience through the strange and tragic events of John Lennon’s last day. Written and directed by Stephen Kennedy and performed by Seamus Brennan. Its short run at the Acud Theatre in Berlin from June 26th – 28th will be its first time being performed outside Ireland. 8:30 pm, 10/6 Euro.
