Mary Black took the stage in Hamburg's Music-Hall last night on the first night of her german tour bringing and performing the very best in Irish contemporary folk music, accompanied by six of Irelands finest musicians. From her open song „Soul Sisters“ to her ending „A Women's Heart“ the richness and clarity of her voice and the ease with which she performed on stage brings a freshness to Irish folk. She performend non-stop for two and a half hours, and her audience of the full house showed their appreciation by stomping and applauding her back for encores! Hurry back, Mary. Slainté.
