Please Excuse the English, it's easier and faster :)
So, briefly, I take your point re looking for reparations from the Russians.
Current PL government are undoubtedly incredibly divisive and shockingly cocky, given Poland's position.
They behave shamefully towards the Germans and the EU, and many of us are throughly ashamed. However, to put this into perspective, the government are waging a war on many fronts.
They have constant.y been asking for repeated investigations into the plane crash, in which the former president, his wife and many politicians died on their way back from Russia.
Moreover, they persecute their political opponents in Poland as well as the polish women en Masse.
Similarly to the Brexit and Trump votes, none of the people I know would admit to voting for them! Yet, they got 40% of the votes.
This is just another face of the wave of right wing radicals which is sleeping the world. We need to think of an alternative, and fast.
Respectfully, this article is so emotionally loaded, as to pull at people's heart strings and incite animosity. It does not answer bigger questions, or further understanding of the case. It's on par with those dreadful articles in the Polish press, which it cites.
All the best
