Gunter Hampels Birthday Bash

Der in Göttingen geborene Komponist und Musiker (und „healing Jazz shaman“) Gunter Hampel ist am 31. August 82 Jahre alt geworden, weswegen er heute Abend ab halb neun im Supamolly zum Birthday Bash aufspielt mit seiner Music + Dance Improvisation Company. Mit dabei sind Gunter Hampel (Vibrafon, Bassklarinette, Flöte, Piano), Cavana Lee-Hampel (Gesang), Johannes Schleiermacher (Tenorsaxofon), Bernd Oezsevim (Drums), Ruomi Lee-Hampel (Tanz), Danilo Cardoso (Tanz), Magdalena Dzeco (Tanz), Ching-mei Huang (Tanz). Hampels wohl berühmtestes Album trägt den Titel „The 8th of July 1969“. Der Free Jazzer hat einst ein eigenes Label, Birth Records, gegründet.
