I think the main problem is that in the Waldorf school the community has a very different weight than in a normal school. The community among other things has its own autonomous "spiritual life" independent of the individual. The other problem is that the values conveyed are always anthroposophical values, one has to conform to what are religious beliefs. Moreover, this perspective is definitely in contradiction with Waldorf marketing, according to which each child is seen in his or her individuality. Whereas instead it is more 'you have to adapt'. The fact that there is not much self-determination is another point of contradiction for a pedagogy that calls itself 'free pedagogy', but in reality is dogmatic and directive. Furthermore, to create an educational community without transparently sharing the founding values, I find absurd. Children do not know the anthroposophical values that are the pillars of pedagogy, and often neither do families.
