Nachdem Tadzio Müller beim Promovieren in England die Klimacamps erlebt hatte, half er mit, die Idee nach Deutschland zu übertragen.von Juliane Schumacher
Very interesting to see this point of view. It may be right, that the eco movement in Britain is a little bit more conservative than in Germany, but I think, the Green Party of England and Wales (GPEW) http://www.greenparty.org.uk/news is a little bit more 'left' than Buendnis90/DieGruenen in Germany (at least today and in the last decade, maybe not before and maybe this will change again). For example Clive Lord, a member of the GPEW, published "A Citizen's Income" (citizen’s income is also known as a "citizen's dividend" and is similar to the "basic income" model), and Derek Wall, the Male Principal Speaker of the GPEW, published: "Babylon and Beyond" The Economics of Anti-Capitalist, Anti-Globalist and Radical Green Movements, 2005.
